eGiving with Faith Direct and Capital Campaign Set Up

Contributing to Our Lady Help of Christians with a bank account or credit card is easy with Faith Direct. There are two ways to set up eGiving and Capital Campaign contributions.

If You DO NOT Have a Faith Direct Account

  1. To begin eGiving navigate to faithdirect.com
  2. Enter the Our Lady Help of Christians ID number MD614
  3. Set up your desired contributions. The options presented mirror the physical envelopes sent to parishioners. You must select a contribution in one area to get past this page and finish set up. All amounts entered here can be managed at any time once the initial account setup is complete.
  4. For Capital Campaign: Click on the amount section of the Capital Campaign box to open another set of options. Select a recurring monthly gift amount and a number of months from 1-36. If you previously donated to the Capital Campaign (via check or cash through the office) enter the amount in the second box to track your total campaign gift. If you are starting a Capital Campaign commitment enter a desired down payment (typically 10% of your total pledge) which will be sent in one payment prior to the monthly contributions. The total pledge will be calculated at the bottom of the menu for you. If you have not previously done so please return a pledge card to the office. Write your pledge amount on the card and write Faith Direct on the card instead of sending a check.
  5. At the bottom of the donation page select either the 4th or 15th of the month for contribution processing.
  6. Select to pay via credit card or bank account.
  7. Finish basic information for the account on the next page. If you have offertory envelopes enter your number where asked. Your physical envelope subscription will stop after your eGiving account is established.
  8. If you want a card to place in the offertory each week request offertory cards in the setup process (this can also be done by phone or online after the account is set up - OLHOC saves these cards for any required attendance verification).
  9. Confirm your contributions and finish the account and eGiving setup process. You can call Faith Direct at 866-507-8757 or the church office with questions.

If You DO Have a Faith Direct Account and Wish to make a Capital Campaign Pledge

  1. Login to your Faith Direct account
  2. On the account page click the Capital Campaign box or select “edit my gifts” and click on the Capital Campaign box on that page.
  3. Click on the amount section of the Capital Campaign box to open another set of options. Select a recurring monthly gift amount and a number of months from 1-36.
  4. If you previously donated to the Capital Campaign (via check or cash through the office) enter the amount in the second box to track your total campaign gift.
  5. If you are starting a Capital Campaign commitment enter a desired down payment (typically 10% of your total pledge) which will be sent in one payment prior to the monthly contributions. The total pledge will be calculated at the bottom of the menu for you.
  6. Click save to update your gift.
  7. If you have not previously done so please return a pledge card to the office. Write your pledge amount on the card and write Faith Direct on the card instead of sending a check.
